NEC 2014 Update class uses the NEC 2014 Code book as its basic informational text.

You will be supplied a series of 200 code question to find the answers to -- the answeres can be found in the NEC 2014 code book.

YOU WILL need a NEC 2014 Code book to complete this correspondence course - If you do not have a current NEC2008 code book one can be ORDERED BY CLICKING ON MIKE HOLT'S LOGO ON THIS PAGE and ordering on-line

Along with the test questions, You will be supplied an answer sheet to transfer your answers to so that the test can be graded.

YOU must have at least 70% of your answeres correct to receive a passing grade -- So if you want to pass, you must search out the correct answers from the NEC 2008 Code book.

The MAIN purpose of this correspondence course is to get you into the code so that by answering the questions you will gain valuable trade knowledge that can be directly applied to your everyday work world.

Once you have transferred all of answers to the answer sheet you will need to do one of the following.

NOTE: Payments must be received before any credit hours will be posted to your License Renewal Account

The RCW/WAC class uses materials supplied by WA/State - Most Recent Update copies of the two doccuments will be provide for you by way of a computer disk that contain PFD file(s) of the documents. There is a search feature on the PDF files that allowes you to search the documents for the right answer. This is the most effective way to answer the questions.

However if you are planning on taking your Journeymans test or Administrators tests, I would highly recommend that you [PRINT OUT THE DOCUNTS] OR purchase copies of the two documents [at your closes L&I Office Cost for both documents $10.00 and HIGHLIGHT the QUESTIONS in the printed version -- which can be taken into any test that you will be taking.

Printed copies of the two documents [RCW/WAC] can be purchased at any L&I office for $10.00.

Once you have answered the Questions -- Return your answer sheet as outlined above. Upon returned receipt of your filled out answer sheet, your test will be graded, and the following steps will be taken:

1. Upon receiving a passing grade = 70%, you will receive By return mail a certificate of completion to varify your passing of the course.

2. Your earned CEU credits will be posted to your ACCOUNT on L&I's Trade Web Site. This Web Site is where L&I Employees go to check to see if you have enough earned credit hours for renewing your Journeymans and/or Administrator Licenses.
